בקטגוריה זו נכללים אתרים ומסלולים בעמק החולה ושוליו - בין קו צומת מחניים - גשר בנות יעקב בדרום לגבול לבנון בצפון, ובין מורדות הרי נפתלי במערב למורדות הגולן במזרח.

השמורה העיקרית במרחב היא שמורת החולה, שריד זעיר מנופי הביצות והאגם שיובשו בשנות ה- 50'. באזור קיימות שמורות טבע רבות נוספות, בעיקר סביב מקורות מים ולעיתים סביב חורשות עצים עתיקים בשולי העמק.
